The fireworks were fantastic and that was the highlight of the trip. We made some great friends and most of the staff were great and the security presence made us feel safe. The people we met and hung out with were friendly and welcoming. Overall- we will go again but would go when it was alittle less busy. We enjoyed the freedom to partake in the friendly environment and even got some accessories from the shop. The pool area was a little crowded at times for my taste, but the view and music was good The resort is green friendly and everyone (including the on duty staff which surprised me) seemed to be partaking. Real personable even though he looked hot and busy. the next time we went up that day for lunch it was like we were an inconvenience to them all when we pulled her and the other male staff away from looking at something on her cell phone. Post 1 Nude2be Textile Friends at Sunny Rest I have heard about Sunny Rest but never made the visit always wanted and would like to. The first morning we were there (friday) we interupted the girl who was working (dark curly hair I think) from her smoke break and got the 'hold on darlin' while she finished up her 'cigarette'. Seemed like we were bothering them or interrupting them from something whenever we showed up so we started ordering from the pool bar most of the time. We visited for breakfast lunch and dinner and can't say anyone was that pleasant or helpful except for the one guy taking orders. It also offers RV sites, tent sites, and hotel rooms complete with private bath, air conditioning, refrigerator, coffee maker, and cable TV. The resort spans over 190 secluded acres. The pizza was pretty good and we were surprised it was actually real pizza and not some frozen stuff The service at the snackbar was not to great. Established in 1945, Sunny Rest is a tranquil, clothing-optional resort located in the beautiful Pocono Mountains. Call the office for scheduling and availability. Couples 90 minute massage is 310, 1 hour couples massage is 200, & 30 minutes couples massage is 130. 90 minute massages are 155, 1 hour massages are 100 and hour massages are 65. the food was adequate but seemed just thrown together at times - but it was a busy weekend so maybe that played into it. A: Yes, massage appointments can be made in the office. We visited the bar and snack bar many times during our stay. This last season, we've had some concerns with bringing her to Sunny Rest. We have a 13 year old daughter that has adopted the clothing optional lifestyle. But I'm not sure that Sunny Rest is the answer. Its a beautiful large property with trails and all. ago I agree that northeast PA needs a winter naturist family friendly destination. We tented so I can't say anything about the rooms, but the bathroom and shower facilities were adequate and clean. We visited Sunny Rest resort for July 4 long weekend - We arrived the Thursday before.
